Ethics and Compliance
Southwestern Medical Center’s goal of being the premier health care provider of choice for Comanche County is our top priority. The relationships we have with our patients, their families, physicians, and each other as fellow employees of the hospital is very important. To retain and nurture those relationships long-term, our actions, must be based on solid, ethical principles. Strict adherence to our code of conduct leaves positive, long-lasting impressions with our constituency, builds trust, and helps us retain and grow our healthcare capabilities.
As you can see, our goal is to exceed your expectations. That’s why we want to know if you have any problems or concerns. If you have a concern about the care you or someone else received from Southwestern Medical Center or from one of the physicians with privileges on our medical staff, we want to know about it so we have an opportunity to address it. You can contact our Quality Department at 580-531-4812.
We strive to make a difference in the lives of our community by providing quality, compassionate care in a work environment that fosters employee commitment and pride.
Code of Conduct
Our code of conduct is updated each year and is required reading for our employees. Our entire workforce is expected to abide by our Ethics & Compliance policies. The workforce is defined under HIPAA regulations as including not only employees, but also medical staff members, volunteers, trainees, contracted personnel, business associates and other persons who perform work for the hospital, regardless if they are paid by the covered entity.
