Southwestern Medical Center awarded Top Workplaces seven years in a row!
January 6, 2020
Southwestern Medical Center has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2019 honor by The Oklahoman, making it their seventh year in a row to be recognized as an Oklahoma Top Workplace! The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.
“The Top Workplaces award is about much more than recognition and celebration,” said Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage. “Our research also shows that these organizations achieve higher referral rates, lower employee turnover, and double the employee engagement levels. It just goes to show that being intentional about culture delivers bottom-line results.”s
Of the 90 companies and organizations recognized in Oklahoma, SWMC was one of four hospitals in the state and the only hospital in southwest Oklahoma to receive the award.
“This prestigious award comes to us as no surprise and speaks directly to the consistency of the exceptional treatment our team members receive day in and day out,” said Julio Nunez, director of human resources at Southwestern Medical Center. “We are fulfilling our mission of making communities healthier and having fun while doing so. We would like to thank our team members for their commitment to excellence and look forward to making it to eight years of being recognized as a Top 100 Workplaces in Oklahoma.”
