Spiritual Support
Southwestern Medical Center affirms the support spiritual care can contribute to the patient, family and team members during a hospital stay or appointment. Spiritual support can assist in the time of healing and the medical process. Patients, families and team members are joined by the chaplains on the journey of healthcare and chaplains can offer hope and encouragement for the path. Chaplains can provide prayers, presences, scripture and compassionate hospitality.
The staff chaplain is available on-site and may be reached by calling 580-531-4868 or calling the hospital operator. After hours, and on weekends, on-call chaplains are available upon request through the house supervisor.
