iThe Surgery Center of Southwestern Medical Center is located just west of Southwestern Medical Center. The Surgery Center is a licensed, certified, freestanding ambulatory surgery center.
The Surgery Center performs surgical procedures not requiring overnight hospitalization. The Surgery Center, a Medicare certified facility, conforms to all state, federal and Joint Commission requirements for an ambulatory surgery facility and is inspected and licensed by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. For inquiries please call 580-536-7533.
Outpatient/ambulatory care involves less extensive procedures that do not require a patient to stay overnight. A medical provider will refer the patient to our ambulatory facility when surgical intervention is required, but prolonged hospital care is not.
The goal of The Surgery Center is to provide patients and families with the highest level of quality surgical care in an environment that is conducive to a rapid and comfortable recovery. The professionally trained team strives to personalize services for patients and their families, as well as the surgeons using the facility.
After a physician has determined a surgical procedure is necessary and may be appropriately performed on an ambulatory basis, the patient may be scheduled for a procedure at The Surgery Center. A member of the team will contact the patient prior to any scheduled surgery to obtain all pertinent information and answer any questions.
