Play and Art Therapy
Play therapy is a type of therapy beneficial to younger patients. It is a therapeutic process where children and their method of play are observed to gain useful insight into behavioral choices. Play therapists also use this process to communicate with the child in order to better identify and treat underlying causes of behavioral difficulties.
Art therapy is beneficial for people of all ages. Art therapists use the creative process as a tool for treatment of various mental health issues including social anxiety, low self-esteem and poor social skills.
Drug and Alcohol Education
Drug and alcohol education and prevention information and groups are available for adolescents and adults. Along with learning healthy coping mechanisms, patients are taught the dangers and consequences of self-medicating.
