At the Birthing Center, women can expect high quality obstetric and gynecological care, as well as comfortable and customizable labor and delivery experiences.
The Birthing Center offers labor and delivery rooms equipped with many of the comforts of home.
- A twin size bed to accommodate a family member or loved one staying the night.
- The option of baby rooming-in or staying in the nursery.
- Daily housekeeping to ensure new parents have the ability to focus on their newborn.
Hugs & Kisses Security System®
In an effort to enhance the safety of our tiniest patients, the Birthing Center features Hugs & Kisses® infant protection system.
Hugs® infant tags are part of a comprehensive system that includes tamper alarms, exit alarms and out-of-unit alerts that allow Team Members to respond quickly in the event of an attempted abduction.
In addition to the Hugs® infant tags, the Kisses® option adds another layer of security. This component includes a tag, worn by the mother, that emits an audible sound when matched with the correct infant.
